TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS

Everything You Need to Know About Our EPP and EPE Bead Foam Options

We offer a wide range of expanded polypropylene (EPP) and expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam planks in two color options and varying densities. The application range, unique physical properties, and technical data to support your informed decision of these expanded bead foam planks are vast, which is why we offer all the information you need to choose the right foam for your, or your client’s, application.

Our EPP and EPE foam document library contains design, fabrication, and foam application guides, technical data on cushion curves, static compressive strength, vibration responses, compression creep, material safety data, side-by-side performance examples, industry compliance and so much more.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email.

Cushion Curves

Use the data on these cushioning performance curves to find the right foam thickness and density for your product cushioning application. They show how ARPLANK EPE and ARPLANK EPP foams behave under different impact conditions.

Working with ARPLANK Foam
We Make Fabrication Easy

ARPLANK Foam is Easy to Fabricate with Most Standard Industry Equipment

  • Die Presses
  • Water Jet Cutters
  • Skivers/Splitters
  • Routers
  • Hot/Abrasive Wire
  • Contour Cutting
  • Saws
  • Table Knives/Flash Cutter
  • Gluing Equipment

The Ease of Fabricating with ARPLANK Foam

  • Achieve superior product protection with thinner walls, smaller cube sizes, and less material handling during fabrication
  • Easy to profile cut, which eliminates having to laminate pieces together
  • Significantly less concavity and shrinkage after die-cutting makes for tighter fitting parts
  • Materials bond very well with hot air, hot glues, PSA tapes, two-part epoxies, and spray adhesives
  • Greater surface area than extruded PE, which requires less adhesive while creating a stronger bond between adjoining parts
  • Integrated hinges can be precision die-cut during fabrication, requiring fewer steps in assembly
